Re:Center Garden volunteers will come alongside staff and LifeChange residents to assist in the upkeep and care of the gardens, greenhouse, and surrounding outdoor spaces. Activities will include things like regular maintenance of the garden beds through planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting. Requirements
Responsibilities
- Regular maintenance of the garden beds through planting, weeding watering, fertilizing, and harvesting
- Build and maintain the infrastructure of the garden (ie. Walking paths, garden beds, irrigation systems, greenhouses, fences, etc.)
- Remain flexible and willing to assist with the ever-changing and seasonal needs of the farm & garden
- Abide by the Re:Center Ministries volunteer handbook at all times
Restrictions
- must be 18 years or older
- group size limit: 10 people
- Able to lift 20 lbs
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Able to work outside for extended periods of time
